A counselling practice with James Andrew Wood

Supporting change. Discovering purpose.

A calm, thoughtful space to think, to feel, and to speak freely. Counselling and clinical supervision, online.

01 An introduction

Hello, I’m James. I offer a calm, thoughtful space for people who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain, or simply in need of somewhere to speak freely. Counselling is not about being told what to do; it is about having the time and space to explore what is happening, what it means, and what might need to change.

My approach is warm, honest, and down‑to‑earth. I work with adults on a one‑to‑one basis, offering counselling that moves at your pace and respects your own experience. I also provide clinical supervision for counsellors and practitioners who want a reflective, supportive space for their work.

Sessions are available online, making counselling accessible wherever you are. If you are thinking about starting therapy, you are welcome to get in touch with any questions. There is no pressure and no obligation — just the opportunity to begin a conversation.
