Individual counselling

An ongoing space to slow down, notice, and make sense of what is going on.

I offer one‑to‑one counselling for adults who may be facing grief, loss, anxiety, recovery issues, identity struggles, relationship difficulties, trauma, and change. Some people come with a clear idea of what they want to work on, while others arrive with a more general sense of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves.

Sessions usually take place weekly, as regularity can help create a steady and reliable space for the work to develop. Counselling is not about rushing towards quick answers, but about taking time to understand what is happening, how it has affected you, and what change might begin to look like. For some people, the work is short and focused. For others, it becomes a longer‑term space for reflection, growth, and support.

Clinical supervision

Reflective, supportive supervision for counsellors and trainees.

I offer clinical supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors, as well as practitioners working in helping, recovery, and support roles. My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in real practice. It is a space to think carefully about client work, professional development, ethical questions, and the impact the work can have on you as a practitioner.

Good supervision should feel supportive but also honest. I aim to offer a space that is restorative, formative, and appropriately challenging, helping you to reflect on your work with care, curiosity, and professional integrity. Whether you are in training, newly qualified, or more experienced, supervision can provide a valuable place to pause, think, and reconnect with the work.

Investment: £60 per 90‑minute session (student discount available)

Short‑term work

Focused, time‑limited sessions for a specific concern or season of life.

Short‑term counselling can be a helpful way to begin, particularly if there is a specific issue you would like to focus on. This might include a recent loss, a period of anxiety, a difficult decision, a relationship concern, a change in recovery, or a particular life transition.

This work is usually agreed around a defined number of sessions, often six to eight, with a clear focus that we review together as the work develops. At the end, we can think about what has changed, what still feels important, and whether it feels right to continue, pause, or bring the work to a thoughtful ending. Short‑term work does not have to solve everything, but it can offer clarity, support, and a manageable place to start.
